Important APEX Member News
ALL APEX MEMBER SITE OWNERS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
As you are all aware, APEX Member website badges with specific ID inserted are now required to be displayed. For many weeks our Director of Memberships has been contacting owners of Member sites over the Badge issue and although a positive number of responses have been received there remain approximately 21 member sites that do not display the APEX Members badge (either the old or new version) and 25 member sites that display the old APEX Members badge (the one without an ID inserted.)
According to the APEX Charter APEX member sites are required to have posted the current design of the APEX Member Badge as approved by the Board of Directors, this badge being correctly linked to the current URL of the APEX web site with no alterations to the badge of any kind being permitted.

APEX Management has no wish to lose valued Members but APEX Member web site owners who . . .
- • Have not requested a replacement badge with ID - or
• Remain displaying the Old ( without the ID inserted ) Members badge - or
• Have already had the correct Members badge sent to them but are not displaying same . . .
will receive three notices for non compliance . . .
- • The first notice was sent dated May 27, 2009.
• The second notice will be sent on or about June 10, 2009.>
• The third and final notice will be sent on or about June 25, 2009.
Current APEX Member site owners who have not requested a replacement badge with ID and have the invalid Members badge displayed on site will be removed from the APEX Full Members list and transferred to the APEX Provisional Members List on or about July 10, 2009.
